So Cam has a new doll, a 23 inch Eva BJD (Ball Jointed Doll). With such a tall doll, we needed a whole new room and definitely a bigger bed.
How To Make a 1/3 BJD, SD13 or Smart Doll Custom Bed
To start, we picked up some wood wall hangings, bass wood planks, and gold spray paint from JOANN Fabric and Craft Stores.
Luckily the planks were 24 inches long, the same length as the piece we chose for the base, so there was no cutting involved. We used some liquid nail and a staple gun to attach each side, then left to dry for an hour.
After that, we took it outside to spray paint. We painted a mini hat box and mini basket, as well.
Finally, we sewed up some bedding and called it done! (The gold heart pillows are actually soft ornaments from Target).
